    Ut oh. Bad egg?

Alright guys, this is my first clutch, 26 days in. I checked on them about 3 days ago and they all looked fine except this one had a lil wet spot. I dried them all off. Check today and I see this. Slight odor. I can just toss this egg, right?

But if it's attached to the other egg, leave it or cut it away

Eggs are dimpling too much for only being day 26. Might want to add some water in or minimize the amount of ventilation in the tub.

I agree. You need to add more humidity. Mine are flush full until around day 50. They are way to dimpled for being less than a month. That egg is done for. You could candle. But it's gone. Cut away or Toss it.

Use dental floss to cut it away from the other egg. It really works well.

Awh man, sorry to hear one of your eggs went bad Peter . Definitely toss if it's got an odor.

And by the way, try sealing the tub with saran wrap or press & seal if you haven't already.

Thanks Tiff. Sucks, but oh well. Used part of my dissection kit to separate the two eggs. Already have press n seal, and the humidity is max-d out. Lots of water in the substrate. And i know you know, but the others dont, the eggs were very dimpled from just picking them up in the beginning. They were kind of fragile. They are a lot less dimpled now than they were, but they probably wont round out much more. There's a lil color bout the size of a pencil's eraser on the egg the bad one was touching. Is there something I should wipe on that to get it clean?

Post a pic so I can see it visually? If anything I'm sure it's fine and there's no way to actually wipe it off.
