Every Time I Put my Male with this Female...
Every time i put my male with my female she musks or "scents" everywhere. Is this normal when i have a male in the tank? will they still presume breeding? I'm new to BP Breeding so i need some help! Should i just let them be even though she musk's everywhere in her tub??? Please tell me what I should do! Is it maybe because she is somewhat in shed??

She's just scenting the area, letting him know "I want you"

I do. I'll only disturb a pairing if someone defecates. Scenting is normal for the female. Sometimes there are blood trails as well which can catch some off guard. As long as you are certain your female is a female just leave them to it .

Search function on forum would of answered your questions without even having to start a new thread. This is asked every year by those that dont search.
Should of done all this months before thinking of breeding. Seems your not ready for it

In my experience if a female doesn't wag her tail or scent up the tub in the first 20 minutes of introducing a male they won't be having relations during that pairing
I let them frolic in their scented up tub even if the female defecates.
I won't break up a pairing till they decide it's done, then I go in and separate them and clean the females tub and all is back to normal.

Not trying to hijack, but if everyone searched and didn't ask questions this would be a pretty boring forum. Just my two scents.

1.1 Het Ghost
1.6 Normal
1.1 Butter
1.1 Mojave
0.1 Bumble Bee
1.0 Axanthic
