Ball Pythons moms and babies
So... I have 6 eggs in an incubator... and they are going to hatch next month in between August 5th and 10th. After they are hatched. do i need to seperate them? or can i put them with Mumma and then just take them out and feed them? or is it a good idea to keep them all seperate so i know who has done what and stuff?

Keep em separate there is no need to put them with mom.

Keep them in the incubator until they shed, then put them in individual set ups

I separate them into their own 6qt tubs as soon as they leave the shell.
They shed and then I offer food.
Putting them with mom

Re: Ball Pythons moms and babies
Once they all hatch you can put them together in a shoebox size tub with damp paper towels. Once they shed you can separate them into their own space and begin to feed them.
Or separating them into their own space is fine. I'm going to do my first option as it is a good space saver for the time being.

As far as the momma snake is concerned, once the eggs hatch her work is finished. Female pythons very protective of their eggs but don't seem to care about the babies when they're out.
