just curious. . .
What makes a spotnose? I've looked at a few pictures and cannot figure it out. I'm just curious, I know my BP is a normal, but I want to buy more in the future and don't want to depend on the person I buy them from to be honest about the morph.

The gene makes a spotnose. It is a dominant gene meaning the original spotnose came from Africa and no two different morphs "make" a spotnose. It's like a pinstripe or spider. Someone correct if I am wrong, but it's not like a pastel (codom) because it doesn't have a super form, like a fire or pastel. It's a single gene morph.

oops, I guess I wasn't clear, I meant what visually differentiates a spotnose from a normal? What do they look like?

Thanks LGray, that was very helpful. For some reason just looking at pictures I couldn't figure it out.

Re: just curious. . .
Agreed - the head markings are the dead give away on spotnoses.
