    questions about wheezing/squeaking

So, I've had my pastel female for a month yesterday. She's still quarantined from my other bp.

From day one, she's had a wheeze/squeak. The day I got her I was not to happy to hear that. But her mouth and nose was completely clear, so I just kept my eye on her. (she had a stuck shed at the time, so I blamed that)

It's been a month, she's since shed for me, and she still has the squeak. She's very very tame, i can even rub her little head, so I'm not thinking it's stress so much. Her eyes and nose and mouth are all bright and clear, she eats like a champ, and is pretty much perfect. (lol..)

Are some snakes just 'squeaky'? How long should I worry about this? If it was an RI, or something similar, would it have presented it's self by now?

When I bought Axel (my other bp) he also had a squeak, but it went away with his last shed.

Am I doomed to have squeaky snakes??

If she has no other signs of RI you can try soaking her (while keeping a close eye for any other symptoms.....it <could> be stuck shed inside her nose. My male pastel was "squeaky" for a while and I could literally see a little flap of dead skin inside his nostril. Soaking helped with it, but it didn't go away until his next shed. Good luck!

If your snake is eating then it's not an RI, some fat snakes will squeak.
    Hated by many.
    Loved by few..
    Feared by all...
