    lol ignorence is bless

well today i go to a fish store that happens to have reptiles so i go back to look at what the have at the very front of the reptile side is a 100 or so gal tank with about 5 or 6 simi adult balls all normals but there is a bp with normal colors but i guess its called a reduced pattern very pretty but still the reptile "expert" as his name tag saw me looking and went in and grabed a brighter normal and said "this right here is a het pastel"...umm what i asked what the guy sold it to the store for about $100....eh what so i tryed to let him know that a pastel is a codom gene and that het pastels arnt real and he said "well i breed balls and i have a pair of het pastels and i will be produceing pastels within a year"....ummm what i said that i owned a super pastel he said "oh its that blue eyed white snake right they are pretty".......(brain explodes) i said have a nice day and left

side note one snake had bad stuck shed and if anyone can tell me what a compltely white tongue means that would help

This made me laugh and I feel bad because he's so miss informed. It's really not hard to run a google search to see what a pastel really looks like so it's his own fault which is just really sad.

I'm not sure if it's the same for reptiles, but white tongue/gums in cat/dog rescue is definitely a sign of anemia due to parasites. I wonder if it's the same?
