    Collection Update

I made up a new desktop reel of more recent phot's of all my snakes. Some photos are more recent then others, moreso just picked the ones I liked and cropped them and resized them, all are from 2011 though. Thanks for looking!

Mint, 10 female CBB DJJ Sibling Carpet Python(produced by Robert Raven)

Tiny, 10 female CBB DJJ Sibling Carpet Python(produced by Robert Raven)

And a few non-python/snake pets of mine.

Coco, her shirt says Daddy's Little Girl for those who are wondering...

Sonic, my true cat, that thinks he's a dog, and is my best bud by far(follows me everyhere)
he was sleeping when I took this photo, first I rearranged his lips so that he was smiling hehehe...

Now the fish, err no name yet, I call him "the fish" and will continue to call it that even after it gets a name more then likely... not much for fish but he's alright.

Not all the greatest shots, but I picked them more based on pose and colour accuracy. Should keep my desktop looking good for a little while anyway. Thanks for looking! ~Caylan.S.~

Thanks everyone! I was feeding Ashe and she missed the rat and just tagged my finger on the way up. First she tried pulling rats head off(my finger tip) until it popped(you know how your knuckles pop when you pull your finger away from your hand hard enough) then she tore the skin on finger a bit. Then she pulled the rest of her body out of her hide to fully wrap my wrist and constricted for a good 15 minutes lol. Didn't hurt much, I've had some doozies at work that make this look like getting flu shot now lol. Ever have a 9 foot jag dislocate your finger? That hurt lol(but not at the time, I lost enough blood that I went into shock... lucky me)
Here's a couple shots in order:
Pulling my finger back and out...

    Until... RIP!!

    .
I'm sure glad I got my new Camera, or I wouldn;t have gotten these shots, that I find really funny myself! She's actually a really nice blood python, even lets me restrain her head if I need too, and I have removed and eye cap from her once and she didn;t even move! Like she knew I was helping her... Bloods are truly great snakes!
    Thanks again, ~Caylan.s.~

It takes a true snake fanatic to respond to a snake bite with concerns about cameras.

But bloods really are great snakes, and yours is beautiful!

Hmm yeah I do sound a bit sadistic there don't I... oh well its true haha, I am a fanatic. It was just cool to see her try and do cervical dislocation first, then constrict after the pop. I thought it was an interesting killing method that I haven't seen yet(or felt yet for that matter) and then to document it nicely was even better haha! My other camera I would have to set up a light box or go outside to get a decent shot of this, which I wasn't about to stress her out with all that during feeding lol. She ate right after this ordeal, of course!

    Thanks, ~Caylan.S.~

Got that right, I love my bloods! They seem soo aware of everything, eyes always moving and tongues always going. Mine are super active when held as well, like thick short carpet pythons. ~Caylan.s.~
