I know "off topic" sales are allowed to be posted here, so I thought I'd try posting this. I know there are quite a few other members here who are also into equines, also if you know anyone else who may be interested please pass on the word, I need to sell them by next week if possible.

I am moving out of state next week and the price to rent a trailer to transport five Miniature Donkeys is outrageous with these gas prices.
These donkeys have been used to breed for years and have produced some absolutely beautiful foals. For a few years we had our own business called "Dinkey Donkeys" in Norco but after some financial difficulties were forced to sell off most of the heard. We currently have two females and one stud left, as well as two foals produced by the previously listed breeders. One jenny and her foal will remain with us because the foal has special needs. The other three need to be sold by next week.

Up for adoption is the youngest breeder female, Faith, along with her foal, Jimmy (born April 30th, 2011).
Faith is an absolute sweetheart and was the first Mini we purchased. She's approximately five years old and has only produced two foals in her life.
If you are looking to breed, she's a valuable addition to any farm. Both foals she produced for us were beautiful, jet black at birth.
If you are just looking for a pet, she is also perfect for that. She has not been bred to our stud since she gave birth in April, so if you aren't looking for that responsibility you do not have to worry about her being pregnant.
She comes with her 7 week old foal, Jimmy, because he is not yet weaned. They are an adorable pair but if you plan on keeping both together, Jimmy will eventually need to be gelded.
Asking an adoption fee of $1500 OBO for the Jenny and foal together.

Also up for adoption is our stud, Black Flag. He is over ten years old but I would have to dig up our records for exact age. We purchased him years ago along with the other donkeys we have now from a breeding farm in Texas who also used him as a stud. He has produced some of the most gorgeous foals I have seen. There's really no telling what he will produce next. He was produced everything from spotted Miniature Donkeys to pure black Miniature Donkeys. Unlike most studs, Flag is the sweetest Miniature Donkey I've encountered. He has no aggression towards humans and I had also planned on teaching him to pull carts. He is only aggressive if you turn him out with a female with intent to breed. He would be an amazing addition to any breeding project but can also just be kept as a pet with no need to geld him.
Asking $2000 OBO for him alone.

A deal may be worked out if you would like to adopt all three together.
The foal and jenny cannot be separated at this time, but they can be sold separately from the stud.
You will need your own trailer to transport them as we do not have one (hence the reason they're being sold).
Serious inquiries only, please contact me as soon as possible as we will be moving out of state next week.
