I weigh mine once a month. Usually on the first or just before feeding day. I have 18 balls so weighing and recording everytime the poo would keep me VERY busy. I found that a monthly weight lets me know if they are losing weight or gaining it.

We have around 40 now I don't think it takes that much time really. We use a large bowl on top of our scale and most of the time they just lay there while I clean the tub. Weighing every time they poop allows me to ensure it's an empty weight.
