Some of my new rats courtesy of snakesRkewl

Here's some shot of just a few of the colony Jerry aka snakesRkewl set me up with. I have every different coat, color, and size. They are all dumbo with well built heads. They are all pet quality friendly. You can tell the amount of time and effort put into his animals. Top notch guy and animals! Without further ado...

Expecting babies, she's also het dwarf bred to a dwarf. Nicest rat I own. She's a sweetheart and loves lounging on the couch with me. She's alone in a tub expecting soon.

Offpsring that snakesRkewl received back after studding a male out. I have 1.2 of these in a tub and they should be expecting shortly. They were given to me to help get my production moving while my youngins grow up.

    One of my future studs

    Another future stud

Probably dwarfs and full sized sibling females - Litter was dwarf x het

6.0 fed off, 1.7 remain - Can you find the dwarfs?

    Two future breeder girls

    Two more

Sorry for the crappy pics! I snapped them real fast. I'll be posting more as my colony develops. I have enough rats to setup 4 bins of 1.4 and plenty of space to grow.

    Regards,

    B

You won't be dissappointed. I was raised owning pet rats. It is important to me to own a nice colony so I spend just as much time with them as Jerry did. They all jump out of their bins to be held and I'm happy to oblige them.

    Regards,

    B

I've never kept a rat. I've owned mice, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I must say, out of those my absolute favorite was my best friend's pet rat. Unfortunately for me, I do not have someone like Jerry to go to around my area. I really do not want any old pet store rat, I want a few from a very nice stock, like his. Also, I'd die if I found a breeder of dwarfs within a couple hours of Vegas.
I'll have to do a bit of searching before I make a purchase. I know they only live a few years, but I want some nice pets/potential breeders.

    Thanks for sharing yours!

Beautiful rats brother you are certainly gonna have a very diverse colony. Love the blaze and the blue hooded? At least i think it is a hooded anyway congrats on the new rats.

I made myself feed a few of them right away. I know how that story ends and I don't need 12 tubs of pets

A fabled burmese dwarf? I think that's what we were talking about? I've got my fingers crossed

They aren't quite a fable but close, lol.
I've been lucky enough to make one hooded Burmese dwarf rex but probably not one you will make very often even with the genetics.
Hopefully you have more luck making Burmese than I did
