    pure destruction

So I wake up today and as usual I head over to Mud Py's tank to make sure his temps are ok and notice that the Humidity is saying Hi.
Well I am still asleep a little so I didn't notice that he had totally destroyed his tank last night.

His hot hide was flipped over and the whole tank is soaked. Would have loved to have seen what the heck he was up to last night

haha I hate that. I'm ocd about his tank, and making sure it's perfect. Then he comes out at night, dig's through the substrate and wrecks everything lol. Drives me nuts.

    Re: pure destruction

My Ball does that ALL THE TIME. She hides all day but as soon as we go to bed, out pops her little head and the destruction begins. She moves her hides ALL OVER THE PLACE, pulls down the vines (I ended up having to twist tie them to the screen top to keep her from doing that) and just makes a mess of everything. In the morning she's back in her hide and giving me the "Oh my goodness, who did all that?" look.

    Gotta love 'em.

    Re: pure destruction

i get nutso when my girl "messes things up" too, haha. i have it all nice and neat in there for her and she'll just randomly re-arrange it. she cant flip her water bowls over cuz i had that in mind when buying them so i got the flukers corner bowls, they're very heavy rock dishes.
before i made her the new hide boxes she has now, she used to end up flipping the other ones over whenever she'd be trying to pack herself in 'em. usually they'd sit ontop of her like a turtle shell & sometimes they'd flip over entirely.
one time she flipped one over into the water dish next to her then climbed into it, still trying to "hide". i just left her to figure it out for herself...took a couple hours before she finally realized she wasnt hidden and went to the other hide box.

I don't mind the hides being moved cause he does that sometimes but today was the first time I had seen the whole cage soaked. It looked like he was splashing around in his bowl or something lol
