I've got eight 1.2 sub-adult colonies that'll be ready to go by the time I get my second rack built, I'm totally prepared to start breeding them LOL
Tonight I've had my 220g male pastel take two 20gramers(his first meal since I got him, he would not take mice), my 380g mojave has take two 40 grammers, and my 380g het clown has taken 3 40gramers...they like ASF's

most of my BP's love asf rats i started my own colony and now up to 30 adults and 50 or more baby asf
but i also breed rats fot almost all 8 females already drop in a week and still 30 med's from last litters
think im set for a while going to give my females a break for a month or 2 ive got enough to feed 17 BP's for a while

That first pastel is gorgeous! Most of my BPs didn't know what to do with ASFs either. I bred for a while, but gave up. I didn't like them AT ALL.

Knock wood, that's never been my experience. I start all my hatchlings on ASF hoppers, and by the fourth meal, they all readily accept rats. Even my adults will take ASF's and then readily take rats as their next meal.

ahahahah the top one is cute . My snakes have no problem between rats and mice ,but im to afraid to offer ASF because they might not eat anything afterwards. Ive seen boa that escaped at a store was later bought by a freind but they found it in an empty hampster tank(after he pointed it out to them lol), after that he would only eat hampsters.
