What's with this Ghana Bp thing on kingsnake?

I have been looking at kingsnake lately because tis the season for new snakes. Advertised all over the place are these Ghana BP's and people are selling them for 225 each. My understanding is that they are a normal BP who sometimes happen to be bigger, other than that are they anything special?
    Currently have
    2.3 pastel's
    0.1 spider
    0.1 normal
    1.1 100% het albino's
1.0 Albino ( he will live at work but i get to take care of him)
    1.0 Cinnamon
    1.0 Fire

The idea is that because they are new blood, they could be holding some secret new morph inside their genetics.

This is a possibility, but for the most part, they really are just pretty normals.

The draw is that it could be the next big thing, of course. And depending on what the animal looks like, it could be something that someone can work into a dinker project or something.

    To each his own.

Ok, so basically they're a gamble. The one posted is really good looking but I'm not really a gambling man, I think I'm gonna pass on it. Thanks for the input Heather.

They are "special" because they carry new blood and also because they have a (small) chance of being new morphs. Still, not worth the money for the most part.

They are also not going to be bigger. I believe you are thinking of the sub Saharan giant BPs. These are a locality type which are known to get larger, have larger heads, and lay large clutches. They are not available very often at all.

People can say what they want, but some major stuff has popped up in Ghana shipments.
Genetic granites, specials (that make crystals), specters/whirlwinds and others.

Yeah, bit of a gamble....but when they pay off, they can pay off big.

Where would one find a couple females, if one was looking. And have the traits passed on to offspring and in morphs.
