It's hard to find Sugars or Calicos this late in the season. There are a few on Fauna but they are big and over a couple grand each. Your best bet is to wait until the 2011 stuff starts becoming more prevalant unless you have $2500 to spend.

    Regards,

    B

    Re: calicos and sugars.

yeah i wish i had the money for that big girl on fauna....believe me not an hour goes by that i am not on kingsnake or fauna refreshing it....lol.....well it doesn't even have to be for sale right now..i'm looking for someone who is going to be producing them and trying to figure out the prices on 2011's....most of the small ones i do see are calio/sugar pastels...which i won't have the cash for...

Your best bet would be to look at breeder sites. See what they have as far as what they are working on and what they should have this year . Keep looking on the classifieds and local shows. Should start seeing a bunch of new hatchlings soon. Tis the season !

The Super Pastel Sugar I got from TSK, may the the one like this as a Sugar.

TSK told me their sugar also has the black back gene. So when breed to normal, will be sugar, sugar black back, black back , and normal.

Mine is all wash out by being a super pastel sugar, so I don't know yet. Time will tell.

I have a Flora Fauna line calico...amazing looking snake. If you call Brandon Boeke at Priceless Pythons in Dallas, TX. He might still have one available. I just met up with those guys last week and I am pretty sure they said they were hatching some out in the next couple months. Definatly check them out, great guys to work with, and their snakes are top notch. Hope this helps, and good luck in your hunt for your calico. When you do get one, make sure you post some pics...calico is one of my favorite, and I really enjoy seeing them.
