Soooo, I have posted a pic of him before on here introducing him to BPnet, but I'll post him again so you can help me with my dilemma.
Pete Kahl sold him to me as a "Possible Leopard Piebald", being that he was hatched in a Leopard Pied to Pied pairing. He sold him to me as a "Possible" because I guess he was so high white that he couldn't tell if he was or not. He didn't charge me extra or anything like that, I just thought it was pretty cool of him to sell him at a High-White Pied price.![]()
My question is, does anyone have any sure-fire ways to tell if a high-white Pied is a Leopard Pied or not? One guy told me once the only way to tell is if you put him in the sun and the coloring isn't totally irridescent, only certain "spots" on the coloring are irridescent. (sorry, no idea how to spell that).
Anyone else have any ideas? When I pair him in the future and sell some babies it would be nice to know if I had a chance at Leopard Pied combos if ya know what I mean.. Thanks everyone!! As always your comments are much appreciated!!
