BP not shedding?
HI, i've had my BP for about 2 months now and it has not shed. Its roughly 9 months old and i feel these sharp spikes on the bottom of his belly, is that a sign of shedding? It's eyes have not turned blue and his skin seems pretty glossy. Do some pythons take longer to shed than others?

There is no timeline indicating when a snake should shed. Some may only shed a couple times in one year, others may shed each month. It is dependent on the individual snake's growth rate. Snakes shed when their skin has become too small because their skin does not grow and stretch with size, as ours does. If a snake is not growing or gaining weight, it has no reason to shed its skin. As long as your husbandry is spot on and your snake is eating regularly, don't worry about when they should shed. They will once it becomes necessary.

Indeed, some shed regularly, others don't.

yeah it is not a regular thing, its a growth thing. if he is not putting on size then there wont be a shed and they all grow at different rates

If those sharp spikes your feeling are near the tail area those are most likely spurs. nothing to do with shedding.

As long as your husbandry is fine, I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep feeding and it will eventually grow enough to make the shed. Mine shed a lot when they were younger, and now I only get a handful per year (vs 1 per month in the beginning).
Definitely keep an eye out and be ready to bump up the humidity when the time comes.

Im thinking the 'spikey stuff' on the belly is just the scales.. I feel it all the time when my snakes are trying to grab on to my hand for a better grip. the raise their belly scales a little to get grip.

I knew I was missing something.
This was my first thought though. You are most likely feeling the ventral scales lifting to grip the surface (your hand). This is how they move quicker. Sometimes one of my snakes' scales catch my hand in a way that makes it feel sharp. As long as they feel smooth when you run your hand from head to tail, I wouldn't worry.

yeahh thats best, even if hes young he could take a while to shed. my small 250g is a voracious eater but somehow grows kinda slowly. took him 4 months to shed.
