Fasting maybe? My BP stopped eating

Well I got my het pieds almost 2 months ago now and my male when i got him weighed 1098g. The first feeding (about 2 weeks after they arrived) I gave him a p/k sm. rat, he ate that right up.
I havnt gotten him to eat since, its been 6 weeks now without feed and hes now down to 1013g. I dont like the weight dropping and that hes not eating.
I tried smaller p/k, live, f/t he wont eat anything. I havnt done anything in his tub to change things. He seems interested in live and will follow it a bit but doesnt strike. Ill leave it in his tub for about an hour checking on it every so often and he just wont eat it.
All my snakes are on my racks with heat tape and a thermostat, 92 hot spot and about 76-78 cold area.
Im just wondering if hes just fasting or what but its weird that he ate that one time for me and now he doesnt want to at all. Its just frusterating me really, any ideas would be helpful.

They eat when they want to , i wouldnt really worry. I have a male that typically feeds weekly for 4-5 months out of the year and goes off feed.

    same here

I have the same exact thing going on. My ball python ate as soon as I brought him home but now he wont touch a thing. It's been almost 3 weeks now. I've been debating trying live but I really don't want him to get used to it and then be forced to supply live. Should I try to wait it out?
