2 new pastels!

your picture and mojave reptiles picture contain 2 different snakes? the one in mojave reptiles pictures is a pastel but yours looks like a normal? try to get pictures of the body and the belly then we would be able to tell

It is really hard to see the eyes etc from the original pic. I'd like to see some better pics of the two of them. Pretty BP non the less.

Here is the other one but the pictures are not getting the color. This one has what looks to me more blushing on the head.

I wish I could get the pictures he sent me, because they show alot more detail. Both have green eyes and which my normal doesn't.

im sorry but im still not seeing pastel? i dont see flames or blushing or light colored blushed out head or pastel pattern and colors.... i see a light colored normal

I agree. I'm not seeing pastel. At that's size they should be pretty bright even for a low quality. I see an amazing normal perhaps there was a mix up?

Sorry to rain on your parade but that's a normal. The one in the pic from the breeder is a pastel and is a completely different snake. If you really have your heart set out on pastel's, research the morph enough that you'd be able to differentiate it form other snakes easily and try and return those normals. Shame on that breeder for selling them as pastels.

Sorry to say it, but I'm only seeing normals in the pictures you're posting. Normals can have colored eyes. And it's not just the "yellow" that makes a pastel...there's way more to it than that.

A belly shot might help clear it up once and for all, but normals can also have clear bellies. If there's any patterning on the belly at all, you can be 100% certain it's not a pastel. But I'm already certain it's not. Sorry.

i think yours are very nice normals too..

this is a pastel, notice the back blushing, the difference in color and


light normal, less blushing just light in color.

Yeah the belly of both have patterns on them, which makes them both light colored normal. I contacted the guy who I got them from and he now says he didn't breed him, a friend did and told him they where. I guess I learned a valuable lesson here (Only buy from reputable breeders) Thanks everyone here for giving me your eyes and opinions!
