What are your thoughts on the product, Reptaid?
Hey everyone,
I went to the Hamburg expo in pa yesterday and came across a vendor selling the product "Reptaid". It is a natural supplement that he said is used as a dewormer but at the same time to fight out infections such as URI. He said instead of using Baytril, you would use Reptaid. I am just curious if anyone has used this product before with ball pythons and your experiences?
Thanks in advance,
Javier

Reptaid™ is designed to help your reptile overcome viral, bacterial and microscopic infections without the complications one would get from more traditional treatments. It is well known in the reptile world that traditional medications can have limited success and debilitating side effects. While undergoing traditional treatments for parasitic infections, reptiles can experience loss of appetite, lethargy, hydration issues, even organ damage. Reptaid™ is a blend of herbs that is gentle to the system, and is found to be beneficial to the health and well being of reptiles.*

actually it makes sense....
animals that aren't eating well or have low libido because they are sick, IF it actually works and makes them feel better they start eating again and moving around. I don't think you should give it to your animal because its not eating well.
the color thing is probably referring to animals where diet can effect their color, but feed your animal the correct diet and this is also not needed
Also i just looked and the domain they list "For more information go to www.biochemresearch.com" and its just an ad site, this draws a lot of red flags to me, fake references hm......

Agree, now they just need a horse drawn cart and some more "herbal" crap to throw on the cart and they can relive the old days scamming people on the road(oh wait, they have the internet....)

naturally i'm automatically leary of the herbal stuff that boasts at being better able to treat such serious things like infections, etc.
