Not sure how you got that out of the video.
There are some great things to be done with them still, it's just nice to know the things that can be skipped.
To each their own i guess

Great video, I had no idea sables could have that effect. Definitely looking forward to part two!

Thanks for posting this. I know you were conflicted but this series has proved useful information that I didn't know. I'd rather know and just not do it. Then to not and be heartbroken.
Thanks!!!

This video series really touched on what I was studying in school perusing my PH. D in Herpetology that I figured all the line breeding, inbreeding, and combo's would have some fatal flaws I wonder what other morphs are like this that don't show till later? Or what other hidden issues could surface. Great video though.

I really never liked the way champs look to begin with. And out of all the combos I’ve seen there has only been one that IMO is worth even the cost of feeding let alone buying a Champaign. Then to hear Kevin say that he considers them to be genetically weaker than your average ball loses my attention for this project even more than it already was.

Re: Lethal Combo Video Part 1
So, you know how he talks about snakes that need extra special care, and he usually gives those away to someone who can handle it? I think this is an awesome idea, and love that he does this.
But, does he have any criteria when he gives them away? Like "you shouldn't breed this specific snake because of the genetic issues." Or, is it more up to the person who takes the snake in?
Just curious as to the thoughts of a "special needs" snake.

He can call me anytime he needs to rehome one of those special needs babies. I'd baby it for the rest of it's life.

Usually it's someone who Kevin knows, who has husbandry experience working with a variety of critters but not necessarily a particular interest in breeding. There's often a friend or volunteer at the shop that has a feel for working with the "Island of Misfit Toys" animals, who just enjoys taking care of the underdog critters that need an extra hand & some TLC.
