Yellowish, runny diarrhea.

My youngest leo wasn't eating, and his tail is shirinking considerably. His urates are still solid, but the poo is yellowish and runny now that we have him eating again.

What should I do?

How old is he, how long have you had him and is he housed alone?

(S)He's less than a year old, I've had this one for about a month, and (s)he isn't housed alone. The other leo (s)he's housed with isn't doing bad at all, growing like a weed actually.

Separate them, at least for now. If it is parasites you don't want them both sick.
Just a thought...keep them separate. Sometimes they just don't like company, could be part of the trouble you had to begin with.

I guess it's been longer than a month I've had him then, because he was eating very well previously. Taking two and three large crickets per feeding. Then just all of a sudden, he stopped. He regurged one and then didn't go for them again.

I will however quarantine him for now.

How much, on average, do fecals cost? If it's too much, I'll have to wait till I get paid again to get it done.

I can't remember pricing but I think the fecals themselves are pretty cheap, like $25-35. Don't quote me on that though but I don't really remember. They might charge you a vet visit also which would add to that cost. Make sure the poop is as fresh as possible too.

And on a side not you are making an excellent choice to separate them!
