    Food size

I'm about to pick up a 1200 gram pastel ball python, but I'm not sure which size of the food I should feed him. I only have a 160 gram (my first ball python), but at what weight should I feed him bigger? I would really appreciate some sort of a schedule that shows the weight of the snake and how big the food is. Could someone please give me a hand?

    Re: Food size

10-15% of body weight typically works

But i normally use that for smaller ones. If hes 1200 he should take a small rat imo maybe even medium?
