Easy trick if u dont have heatpad or UTH

some of new owner still dont buy heatpad or UTH,but i have a solution for this(use as an alternative, not advice for use long term).make sure ur tank or tube have high legs or you can put your tank above some book or wood to make a big space below the tank.boil water, let it cool to 90F to 100F.then put it in a bowl n place it under the tank right below the hiding place, this will heat for 1 or 2 hours depend on your room temp.change the water if it already cool.hope it help u.

Are you talking about doing that if the power goes out? That's about the most difficult thing you could do, plus you have to have a gas stove if you are talking about in a power outage.

Two easy things, get some heat packs, hand warmers, etc. Or fill water bottles with the hottest water out of your tap, do not put them in the tubs or directly under the tubs. If I have a power outage I pack up all the snakes and put them in my incubator. Then I fill up water bottles with hot water and put them in my incubator, an old fridge. It keeps them at 80-85 degrees for about 8 hours.
