I've seen other pastels like this but why what does it mean?
They all do it some more than others but all do it ive been lucky mine hasnt lost hers yet it means they gettin older

It starts from hatchling but the nicer the pastel, the less they brown out. As the snake gets older expect it to turn more brown! Regards, B

Actually a lot of morphs do this. It tends to happen in some cases. The higher quality animals tend to stay lighter colored but that's never a guarantee. Regards, B
Fires on the other hand tend to get brighter! So if you want something to stay bright, get something like a firefly! Or expect to spend a ton of money on a very high quality animal!

Albinos don't brown out. LOL Just thought I'd throw that up. Even super pastels lose some of their brightness when they get older. I'm sure your snake is fine, but will lose some of it's brightness as it ages.
