First clutch of the season - what about these eggs?
Hi guys!
This is my first clutch of the season, the female weight 2552 g before breeding, she laid 8 eggs with total weight 800g , all are fertile but they dont look so good. Can it be the calcium lack in her diet?
I've never heard of BP girls lacking calcium, rats/mice contain all they need. To me they just look a little dehydrated. As long as they candle good once they are in the incubator for a bit they should plump up a little.
Nice sized clutch, congrats!
Good luck with them.

The only problem I see with those eggs is that they've caved a bit. I had snowflaked ball python eggs last year and thought it was entirely bizarre. They all hatched and were perfectly healthy, but that was just an odd bunch of eggs.
I think yours look fine. Congrats and good luck!
