bts - need some help
i got my blue tongue skink a week ago, he is a northern, unsexed but probably male with light scars at many places from being bullied, but they look fine to me and will probably fade later.
he is about 35 cm long.
now, i think i fed him a bit too much this morning, he ate it all in 4-5 mins, is given day once every other day.
shouldnt he be basking? i know he was lying on the substrate for a while when i went to school ( hes too slow in the morning to crawl up on the basking log ), but right now hes in his hide, wide awake.
his daily routine as far as i know consists in me hitting the lights at 7,8 and he waking up one hours later, then eat, then bask on the substrate then bask on the log, then run around in the afternoon ( 4,5,6 ), then he falls asleep in his hide after hes finished exploring.
today he seems tired? i know he was outside a while ago, but its not yet time for him to fall asleep....
should i be worried or just leave him alone?

Re: bts - need some help
calm down lol to many people get worried something is wrong and constantly adjust things in his cage and take him out. This can stress the reptile out, just let him relax and let him be for a couple of days, if he seems worse after a week or so you could take him to a vet... Most vets will do check ups for between $25 and $50. Make sure he has right temps, UV, etc. Also make sure you are feeding him the proper things and portions, he could just be digesting.... Here is a great site that contains loading of info on BTS's.

they have a caresheet link in the upper left corner it's a little hard to see but its there and the best caresheet i've found for BTS's
I hope this helps and good luck
