BP in shed?
How did I not notice this? Lol. I was just handling him 2 days ago. And just earlier about 20 mins ago coming home from work. I go check out his enclosure and I see him just laying out in the open, a portion of his body in the water dish. And I noticed he had pieces of shed laying around. I didn't even know he was even in shed to begin with!?! Lol...So I immediately started arranging his enclosure with a bigger moss hide, etc. And at one point he even struck at me. Didn't get me but wtf? Is this a common behavior during shed? Or is it because he's in shed and possibly his eye sight is blurry and may have thought of me as a threat? Hmmm...well he's back in his hide, and now I'm making sure humidity is at the proper range.

Re: BP in shed?
Him striking at you while he is in shed is normal. These snakes feel very vulnerable at this time and sometimes get a little grumpy.

Re: BP in shed?
Yeah, it's definitely normal for all kinds of snakes to be more grumpy around the time that they shed. Especially when their eyecaps are blue, because they can't see as well. Some are more irritable than others, but it does happen, so I wouldn't take it personally
Also, you probably didn't notice because right before they actually shed, bps skin and eyes clear up to a certain extent and they look almost normal. So when you handled him a few days ago you wouldn't have noticed. And somehow you must just have missed when he was in his obvious blue stage, which can last for between 2 and 4 days.
As long as you're raising his humidity now, everything should be fine, and if he doesn't get all of the old skin off in a couple days, you might have to soak him and run him through a damp towel.
