Caramel albino's having "kinks"
I purchased a female caramel albino recently. I've done a little reading on them in the past, but not to in depth(thinking that I would never own one). Well I was reading some older posted and they talked alot about them having/producing kinked offspring IS THIS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS ALOT??? I new about the spider "wobble", but I knew nothing of the kinking caramels.

It is something that they are prone to. I have talked to a few larger breeders though and they feel that it depends on the lines of caramel's that the bp comes from as to how frequent the kinking will be...

Maybe out breeding her to animals with good genes would help with kinking issue?

Re: Caramel albino's having "kinks"
It has been known to happen, but by no means does it happen all the time like the spider wobble. It is possible to get completely kink-free snakes and severely kinked snakes from the same clutch, and as far as I know kinking is something that happens randomly. I'm sure someone with experience breeding caramels will have a lot more insight on the topic, but that's what I know of it.
* EDIT * I just saw your other post, we posted at the same time. If I'm correct the kinking is related to the caramel albino gene itself, kind of like the eyeless defect with certain strains of albinism in boas. Breeding to healthier lines may help reduce the occurrence of kinking but it doesn't necessarily mean it can be eliminated.
