Spider at local chain pet store

I was shocked. Wife went to old navy so I stop by the local Jacks and they had a spider ball python hatchling for 299.99. I could not believe it. Have not seen anything other then normals in any local stores around me.

We have several pet stores locally that not only sell morphs but breed them also.

$299.00 is only double what the market price is, lmao @ pet stores...

The local petco here had pinstripes and spiders for 299.99 a few months back, now they have them listed for 149.99. I was really surprised to see them, but i am definitely not surprised they are not selling for them. I dont hate petco or anything i just wish they would give a little more info about care of the animals. The petco i speak of sells hot rocks, heat mats, heat lamps, etc., but not a single thermostat. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

IMO that is way too much. look around on kingsnake. i guarantee you'll find a way better price.

I guess I'm the lucky one of the bunch. I live right next to Reptile Outlet and they currently have Cinnys, Mojaves, Pastels, Enchis, Pinstripes and Spiders and apparently that's a "bad" month and they should be getting in more morphs next month. They also have some really reasonable prices and seeing as I wouldn't be paying for shipping, I will be saving quite a lot of money in the near future.

I bring in morphs to the pet store I work at. but not many people realize or know about morphs when i show em. I put up an adult spider for 250. customers who dont kno think its outrageous lol until I tell em how expensive some morphs can be.

Petsmart has "fancy ball pythons" listed on their website as an animal they carry. I've never seen one there but I have seen some strange looking boas in Petco before.

I can feed fancy rats to my fancy ball python!!

Petcos in my area have recently started getting BP morphs in often. The usual crappy looking pastel here and there was normal, but one Petco I went to the other day had a REALLY gold pastel, a nice looking spider that didn't seem to have a wobble (I didn't look too long), and a pinestripe though I think that was sold.

Prices aren't exactly amazing, but it's nice to see. The BPs looked pretty healthy at a glance too.
