    Reticulated Python question...

Ok, so I got this rescue, as I have started a rescue here in the Carolinas. I fell in immediate love this little girl, and decided to keep her for my own. She is a normal reticulated python. She is about six months old.

There are two questions, actually, and I'll post images when I am able to get them later in the weekend.

Problem #1 I have noticed she has these "little bubbles" on her head. I noticed it for the first time after her first shed under my care. I thought it was a stuck shed, but it doesn't come off or peel. It's actually WITHIN HER HEAD. Almost looks like a human scar tissue... Very glossy. I don't know what it is, and I know that most of you cannot advise without seeing it first hand. Again, I'll post up pictures when I can.

Problem #2 Her right eye seems to be sunken down a little, and doesn't stick out as much as it should. I have asked other herpers in my area about it. No one has a suggestion, even of the most experienced. I'm keeping an eye on it, but it doesn't seem to bother her in the least bit. It has always been this way under my care.

    Can anyone advise?

    Thanks,

    Zachary.

Without seeing it I would make a shot in the dark guess that it is scar tissue from a feeding incident. That may explain the slightly displaced eye as well. Again just a blind guess but I think it's plausible.

It doesn't appear to be scars... It's as though there is a layer of skin, but not frayed like it is a shed or anything, but stretching out... Almost as though air gotten under it.

Yeah, I'll throw pictures up soon. There are no wounds on this snake. She had always been on F/T, I've tried changing her over to live and prekill, but she just won't have it.
