Some of you may find this trivial but I (and hopefully I’m not alone on this) find it down right hilarious. So, to fill you all in if you missed it, at the beginning of the month, sparticus had some interesting exchanges with a guy by the name of “Jessy Wooden” (I would be surprised if that was his real name) that was selling morphs for WAY below market prices and claimed to be selling a panda pied for another ridiculously low price. Thanks for contacting me in regards to my Captive bred ball pythons,They are Many different Species of this ball pythons available and with different price range.Taking care of Captive bred Ball Pythons is something that I find enjoyable, relaxing, and educational as well as you will do.. It can be a challenge at times, and does teach you patience. One lesson I learned pretty early is that caring for reptiles is very unlike caring for mammals (ie.dogs,cats, hamsters, etc.).They will acclimate, but they will be good feeders and are not into defensive position.My Ball pythons are presently3.2ft and will be about 5 FT when fully grown.They are 08 and The Ball pythons in captivity are fed appropriately-sized mice and rats at the rate of 1-2 every week (I feed them one every 5 days). ***ALWAYS FEED BALL PYTHONS PRE-KILLED FOOD ITEMS!!!*Before i can give any of my ball pythons to any home, i will need you to know more about you,Please give answers to the

ME: I don't have the proper license to recieve animals from other countries. I thought you were in the US... (to be honest, I don’t know the requirements or regulations to receive animals from other countries but I’m sure it’s not as easy as doing it from state to state)

HIM: There is no license needed to receive animals from another country . These pythons are coming with all health papers , so you have nothing to worry about OK

ME: Pretty sure there is a phenomenal fee when exchanging animals between countries. Plus, since they're exotic, there are certain rules and regulations that go along with shipping the animals. Also, how is there any sort of health guarantee if it will take multiple days to ship?

HIM: I made some inquires and was told that there are no fees when shipping animals apart from the transportation , which i already told you that i am going to take care of . And also the pythons are vaccinated . and are checked , so if even they take more than a day to reach your location , they will be no health problem OK

There are currently no vaccinations for snakes. What did you "vaccinate" them with? Sugar water?

HIM: They were vaccinated with sugar water (O_O)

ME: And what does that do for the snake?

HIM: i was told by a friend that , giving then sugar water will help them prevent some illnesses

ME: Can you please explain to me on a biological level how injecting sugar water does anything for a snake? I've never heard of injecting sugar water into ball pythons to make them healthy and I'm really curious. Thanks. (I stayed as “professional” as I could because I didn’t want to scare the lulz away)

HIM: i earlier told you a friend of mine advice me to do so that it is going to help the pythons , and i did that because he had pythons before me . He told me that was what was keeping his pythons healthy .

lol yeah a while ago i replied to one of these types of ads and it was located out of cameroon...although the correspondance didnt last more than 2 emails, i was HEATED initialy that people would try and rip people off like that...but then I realized if I was in a place that was relatively socioeconomically disadvantaged, and this place happened to be home to an animal that people who enjoy far greater luxuries are willing to pay hundreds of dollars just to get a cheap headstart into a hobby that is unaccessible (financially) to many people in my home, I would be all over that! Such a great scam...even more reason to buy from local breeders! end of rant
