    Retained Eye Cap

One of my ball pythons has a retained eye cap. She shed twice now but still retained it. Her humidity was 60% each time too. What is the best way to remove it? I really don't want to wait around until she sheds for a third time.

    P.S.
I did already search this topic.

    Thanks as always,

    Tommy

after multiple retained eye caps i would take it to a vet so they can have it removed .

    Re: Retained Eye Cap

this is what I have read and what i did for mine.... I soaked it in a bucket in warm hot about 1 inch high for about 30 mins 3 days in a row. One of them came off the other didn't, so then I soaked him again for the 4th day in a row, after I soaked him I took a wet q-tip and rubbed softly against his eye and it came right off. This is advice my local pet store gave me, if you are a common customer at one (not a petco or petsmart or a big chain like that) and ask them for advice they might be able to explain it better or even tell you to bring your snake in and they will remove it for you.
