    My super mojave actually turns pink around her head and neck while eating, even when not in shed. I assume it's increased blood flow or something?

    Happens to all of mine too. I always assumes the same thing.... Since the skin is getting so stretched out, you see the thin layer of blood and capillaries much more clearly. hence, the pink hue around the face and neck
