What is the youngest a bp can be bred?

I'm not asking this because I want to breed.

Today I had the oh sugar moment. I put a snake back in the wrong cage last week. Today when I went to feed I discovered my error. My lesser male locked with a 9 month old female pastel. I don't want her to have babies for obvious reasons.

I checked her cloaca area and she had a "residue". He recently started producing sperm plugs. I just want to know if my screw up potentially spells disaster for Baby.

Yeah I know there are no 100%.... answers, but that's what I was hoping that she was to young, and other than a few days of harassment from Boy that she will hopefully be fine.

Re: What is the youngest a bp can be bred?

    she's about 350g a really little girl
I sometimes swap the tubs while cleaning, and when I was in a hurry putting Boy up I forgot about that. Baby must have been in the hide, she's normally out trying to climb the sides. I guess when I saw an "empty" tub I thought that's where there he goes.
I know it's just an excuse, but my new job keeps me busy. A friend that gave me my first snake is going to take two of my balls, so hopefully having less to take care of will mean no more mistakes.

Re: What is the youngest a bp can be bred?

She is way too young, but because of how young she is I highly doubt she will ovulate. What surprises me though is the fact that the male actually locked up with her, because my males usually they have no interest in a female that is not ready to breed. I would keep a close eye on her, but truthfully I dont think she will take.

At 350 grams I dont think you are going to have any problems. Its hard enough to get a 1500 gram girl to take sometimes, lol.

Most girls wont take until their third winter.
