She is very nice looking, but as far as being het I have no idea....

The only way you're ever going to know for sure is to try to prove it out. Otherwise, its a normal, and a good looking one too.

The definition of a heterozygote for a recessive trait is that it is a heterozygous genotype but normal phenotype.

In other words, no, no one can tell you if it is an albino heterozygote.

It seems that many het albinos have white coming up off of the underneath of the belly , yours has the typical yellow color surrounding the alien and looks to be a very typical normal pattern ball python IMO.
It still is not a dead give away and I would only purchase a het from a well known source.

    This is my het albino...

Is there a reason you think she is a het other than that spot in her pattern? Het albinos don't have any definitive marker, not het does, and normals can have spots like that in their pattern. Most likely she's a normal if you bought her as one.

Re: can anyone tell me if this snake is het or not ??????

No visible markers from what I can see.
Just a nice healthy ball python.

Albinos really don't have any definitive markers.

    Here's my favorite albino story......

A buddy of mine bought a 100% het female albino from a reputable breeder.
He raised her up for 3 years to get her to weight, then bred her to a visible male albino..... 6 eggs.... no albinos.

He bred her again the following year.... 8 eggs.... no albinos!

Finally in total disgust, he "poop" talked the seller to everyone who would listen, and sold the now 2500g female to a friend for $50 as a normal.

The guy who bought her, bred her and had another 8 egg clutch.....
This time she produced 6 albinos and 2 normals (hets).

So it just goes to show that breeding hets is about numbers, patience, and knowing your animals.
Just a few snakes and geckos at the moment.
