I tried breeding my male spider with my normal female a week and a half ago. I kept them together for 3 days, and didn't witness a lock and they didn't really seem to show much interest.
Today I put my normal male with her, and within 30 minutes this is what I saw:
I couldn't see anything too clear, but I would say this looks like a lock!!
I am gonna pair my spider with her again. I would much rather have some spider babies, but since this is my first attempt at breeding I would just be happy with a successful egg laying and incubating.
Once I get my first clutch under my belt, then I will try to fine tune the breeding.
