    Weight Opinion...

Hello I was hoping to get some input. I've had my normal for about 3 weeks now and he's been eating f/t hoppers every 6 days. I have like 3 frozen ones left and then I was going to switch to a bigger meal. He's about 6-8 months old...and I have an appointment for a "check up" with a vet next week. Does he look too skinny? I realized after I bought all the hoppers that they may be considered a smallish-medium size meal, should I be feeding him every 4-5 days until the hoppers are gone? Here's a picture I took tonight, I just wanted people's visual input, I don't want him to be hungry

I don't know his weight I don't have a scale, part of the reason for the vet appointment so I can get all his vitals and make sure he's good and healthy. He's mostly round but just seems kind of thin, as you can see in the picture you can see his spin pretty well when he wraps. I didn't know if it was normal, I want to make sure he's getting enough food.

    Re: Weight Opinion...

Looks pretty similar to how mine looks, but I am also wondering if mine is underweight a little. I can see my BP's spine like that too, and hes definitely not as chubby as I've seen some BP's. Sorry I cant help...I'll be watching to see what others say though!!

    Re: Weight Opinion...

From the pictures he doesn't look skinny but he could probably be taking f/t rat pups or mice. I can usually get babies on rat pups after the first couple of meals. One appropriate sized meal every 5-7 days would be fine for him...
