Handling after feeding question
So my bp ate about 50 hours ago, should he be alright for handling now? or would it be better to wait till he defecates just to be safe?

Re: Handling after feeding question
I usually only wait for 48 hours before handling my ball pythons. If you waited for it to go to the bathroom you my never be able to handle them...lol Go ahead and handle it if you want...

Re: Handling after feeding question
Yup, he's going to be perfectly fine with handling. The general rule is to wait 48 hours before handling. As was said, you might only handle once a month if you wait for him to poop!

I agree with Alex and Dragon. Good rule of thumb is that you can handle your BP 48 hours after feeding or if you are feeding in a seperate tub you can move them back to their enclosure shortly after eating. Just be gentle and keep in mind that they may still be in feeding mode.
