    Another freakin' Snow Storm

Woke up yesterday to reports of a dusting of snow for the evening hours. By the time I got to work, they said 1-3 inches of snow. Lunchtime = 2-4. After work they changed again to 3-6 inches of the white stuff. By dinner time it was 3-5 starting around 9-10 pm. Somewhere around 8pm it started and no sooner than the first flake hit the ground, they changed it to 4-7 inches.

Wake up today and they pretty much got it right. Somewhere around 4-7 inches in the area.

But my God, how many times were they going to change their forecast.

Then I go out and the ever loving county road crews decided my side of the street was going to be the side they plow to. So I've got a bunch more snow to shovel.

It's not going to be a good day!

    Haha, you got 4-7?

We barely made two inches here, if that. Most of it actually not snow, its just the sleet. Drove up to baltimore county to pick up a cage last night All the road signs sad "Expect snow, plan head" BF laughed when I was like "Expect snow? Plan trip to baltimore!"

We got 5guys, it totally worked out.

    You all suck!!!

    Seriously.

14+ inches here in the past 48 hours that I've had to shovel, and now dig two cars out, not to mention other local reports on wunderground of as high as 18 or 19 inches in the area.

    Stop your whining!

I like snow, remind me NOT to move where you live. 14 inches at a time is too much, unless I get to enjoy it infront of the fireplace with a hot chocolate and a boyfriend.

Heh, according to Mainbutter's profile, I live in the same metro area he does, and this is round 2 of big snow for us this year, and it was smaller than the first one. I actually didn't find it to be that bad, but I know the totals varied widely across the metro area. I guess Mainbutter must be in the southwestern portion of the cities; IIRC they got hit the hardest. 14 inches sounds like Bloomington maybe? I'm in the northeast; we got *maybe* 10 or 12 inches, and it barely slowed us down.

People in the DC metro area can't deal with snow in any quantities. I went to college in upstate NY and THEY know how to deal with the snow. They'd better, they get an inch every day haha.

Meh, this is the only time of year FL is bearable; the rest of the time it's like walking through a swampy haze. If it's going to be hot, at least let it be reasonably dry; then your sweat can do its job and evaporate to cool you off. High humidity is just a recipe for suffering.
