K so I keep a few mice in a cage so that I don't have to run to the pet shop every time I have to feed one of my snakes.
That being said, today I went to feed my BP and noticed that one of the mice is.... Sneezing, is the best way to describe it. It was like a sniffle/sneeze thing that shook its entire body. It kept doing it and doing and is still doing it almost 30 minutes later.
So I have 2 questions for are lovely community.
1. Is this sneezing thing the mouse was doing a disease? Or does he just have something stuck in his nose... Do mice even sneeze.. Lol Basically what's the deal. I've never seen a mouse do this and am now a little apprehensive to give it to my snake. If I had a video camera I'd record it and post it for you guys to see but I can't because I don't >.<.
2. This whole situation got me wondering. Are there any diseases that mice can carry that would transmit to a snake if it ate said mouse? And while I'm asking, is there anything I shouldn't feed the mice for fear of harming my snake? Usually they get fed what ever bread is about to go stale and once in a while an old pizza crust that I don't want.
P.S. My BP decided she wasn't hungry and just ignored the other mouse as it walked around.
