    Not striking

My bp is 695g, in a tub, never misses a meal. Last fed she didnt strike so i left the rat in, she finally ate it. Today is feeding day again, i offered and no strike again so i left the rat inside again, just checked ob her and its still sitting there. She was on a 5 day feeding schedule and i switched her to 7 days this feed, so before today, her last feed was last monday. I thought for sure that 2 extra days waiting, she would have gotten hungrier and would have nailed it today, but noope. I hate wasteing rats, have nobody else to feed it to, my boa just downed a med rat 20 mins ago. Bp's are just too damn picky for me, my boa and jcp eat no problems!!

I had a girl that size go 7 months without a meal and now shes eating like clock work again. My males have not eaten since turkey day and are doing just fine. Just skip a week or so and see if that gets her going, also mine when they get picky I offer smaller food items and they will usually go for that. When in doubt I feed small rats and that even gets my 3000 gram going

Sometimes they don't strike. I have a few snakes that will only eat off the floor of the tub, and some that will only eat if they strike.

Your snake is at a pretty good weight and will probably be fine with skipping a few meals. No sweat. If you find your snake is not eating every week, cut back to every two weeks.

Also, it is winter, some snakes go off feed.
