Nope. We can't even tell you definitively how many locks it takes to do the job. Obviously one is the minimum but to say ok she locked so in xxxdays she ovys. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. environment her health, food supply, stress levels etc. all play a part in how fast things happen from the last lock.

There is a definite progression but it is subtle and unless you keep a close eye on them and note changes it probably will slip past you as it does many keepers.

This is a nicely laid out timeline.
    http://www.ballpython.ca/gallery/breeding.html

Nothing is set in stone when it comes to the time line but things do happen in order "if" they are going to happen.

I bred a perfectly healthy 1800 gram female last season and had 10+ lock-ups with the same male that she bred the season before and had given me 6 beautiful eggs.
She did everything right till it came time to ovulate and then nothing. She went back on feed and never ovulated so I got no eggs from her last season.

She's breeding again this season at 2800 grams so I'm hopeful for her again

Variable, there is only one time line that you can guarantee and it is from the ovulation itself.

Mine have been locking since late november and have not ovulated yet. They are seeking cool have had a pre ovy shed and are eating and building like crazy and have a glow to them. So its been around 3 months for me and no ovy yet but I think they are close. But from what I hear they is no definative answer to this question, they are all different and go at diff times.
