No he isn't hissing all the time he did that to me once when I was touching him in his enclosure ... he is usually in strike mode Im pretty new to reading body language but if its that "S" shape than yes he is in striking mode .... mind you I haven't touched him since wednesday and I'm going to leave him alone for a few feedings and a few more weeks but I will defiantly use the spray bottle technique when Im ready to start handling him I guess it cant do any harm to do something to prevent him from striking .
