Do you think asf rats will chew through this?
I need a easy way to transport about 100 asf rats over 4 days. Do you think they'd chew through these:

If i choose those, ceramic bowls. I'd have to replace the water probably 2x a day though.

However, unsupervised for 4 days with no water, I have no clue, have not kept any in those tubs for that long. The most I have had them in there was a couple of hours drive between a show and my home.

hmm.. okay. yeah i have a 4 day drive move across country so I need a good idea of what to move them in. I might just keep them in their tubs if I can find a way to stack them in the car.

I use those containers to ship rodents. So far, I have'nt had a ASF chew through, but they do chew on them.
As for watering... Simple solution for a couple of days is apples, sweet potatoes, carrots, any water heavy veggies. Doesn't totally substitute water, but it will get you through a couple of days.
Also, horse sweet feed has a ton of moisture also, so you don't have to worry about dry food...
I've also shipped with rabbit food mixed with water in a deli cup, makes a mush that stays pretty wet...

I have shipped thousands of mice rats ASFs gerbils hamsters basically any rodent known to man lol when I worked for a nationwide pet store supplier we bred and shipped them all over the eastern seaboard from one location in Ohio. These animals were routinely kept in these tubs for four to seven days and as long as they have potatoes or apples they were just fine. In my 2 plus years working for them I never saw one chewed tub. You will be fine. After 2 days just put in fresh potatoes. Hope this helps good luck.
