    Is the purple normal?

    The top 1/4 of the white on my albinos body has a purple ish hue to it. Normal or not?

    Yup, normal albino. A lot of lighter colored bp morphs have a pinky-purple hue to the babies because their skin is still so thin...

    RDR has some videos in which he mentions that a lot of albino owners see a purple tint in their babies and hope it means they've actually got lavender albinos. But lavender albino is a completely different gene, so lavenders won't come from ordinary albino or het albino parents.

    In a true lavender, the purple shows up after several sheds, and deepens with age.

    Perfectly normal for an albino. And hes a good lookin one!!!!
