    Broken Hydrometers?

Hi guys I have purchased quite a few therm/hydrometers this week and none of them read hum in my tubs. The first four give no hum reading at all then I picked up 2 Acu-Rites today from lowes and they are both reading around 30% hum which I find to be wayyyyy to low considering the sub and plants and the visual condensation in the tub. Maybe i'm wrong but is there some math to this or a better them/hydro I can use?

what kind of substrate are you using? Are you keeping a lid on top of the top? I just had the opposite problem with too much humidity in my tub. worse comes to worse you can always get a humidifier...thatll solve the problem.

im using coco bark and forest moss and yes i keep the tops on the tubs and can feel the hum come out and there is constant condensation on the tub sides
