Mini fridge question

can u make a mini fridge into a freezer. i read an add that said the freezer part didnt work in the mini fridge cause it would freeze everything. just wanted to see if there was any personal experiences regarding this im looking for somthing to store f/t rats and possible incubator project in future.

i ask because there is a free one on craigslist. and if i can get a free mini fridge possible freezer that would save me 180 dollars on a new one. thanks

I wouldn't take the chance for using it as a freezer, but it would make a nice incubator.

now i call to order a mini freezer at k mart and they say they cant special order anything from the kmart website what kind of ish is that. i mean are u for real is it all a ploy to get me to pay for shipping?

check with a local walmart, or even places like lowes/homedepot. they sometime have some nice pieces cheap cause it got a scratch od dink in. ( I popped several small dents out of pieces for a friends over the years.) saving them a couple hundred bucks.
I picked upa coke machine acouple years back and paid 100 bucks for it. ( even if i had to drive 2+ hours to pick it up. ) I still think it the best thing I gotten for the snakes to this day. I told if I give shot coolant it work fine( not even seen if it works since i use it for eggs not drinks. ( might try this summer after breeding just for the heck of it)
