    Question TOO MUCH humidity

Sounds weird since most people have issues with not enough humidity (and the reason I have switched to tubs) but now I'm having the problem of too much humidity. I've made holes in the lid over the water dish; no help. Any suggesstions? I'm reluctant to buy a dehumidifier if I really dont need to. with the lid on its averaging 70-80% which is insane. So if I'm home I will leave the lid off (and watch him closely of course) and it will drop down to 55-60% which is my goal.

    Re: TOO MUCH humidity

I don't even check my humidity anymore since I switched to tubs due to the inaccuracy of all of these humidity gauges (reading between 50-80%). Like someone said in a different thread, I think as long as it's not beading up and dripping down the walls of the tank/tub they should be fine. All of mine are in perfect health and usually shed in one solid piece.

You may need to add hole to the tubs, start with 10 on each side of tub, thrn increase as needed.
