New Website..
Hey everyone. Looking for your feedback on my new website I completed over the past couple of weeks.
If you have any suggestions or comments let me know. I will be using the website to showcase my (very small) collection and sell any hatchlings I may produce in the future.

Thanks!

Re: New Website..
Overall, it looks great! I love the look and feel of the site!
A couple of things that I did notice:
1. The "grainy" effect continues on pictures in your Collection section. It hurts my eyes a little because it seems like everything is grainy on those pages. The graininess should help separate the page template from the actual page and the content on the page.
2. I can tell that you are using the magic wand tool on Photoshop or a similar feature to cut out your pictures. I am a huge fan of this style of portraits! Unfortunately cutting them out this way leaves strange hard shadows (as seen on the main page) and parts of the snake that also become selected and therefore deleted (as seen on the Pied on the Contact page). I would try adjusting the lighting when you take the pictures to have a solid white background or close to it. Also, perhaps try to soften the shadows by using multiple light sources and perhaps even a softbox. Even if the lighting in the picture isn't perfect, you can also adjust the brightness, contrast, and coloring and the likes in a photo editing program like Photoshop. There are also ways to make an image fade into solid white around the edges. Play around with it some and look online.
Besides that though, I really like the site! It looks professionally built and has the right balance of neutral and "pop".

Other than that good job and nice collection
Never thought about that. I'll have to decide what I want to do with that. I like the "inquire" part on the availble page to make things easier for the customers.
I wanted the background to fade to white as you scrolled. But thanks for the suggestion.

Everything that is 'clickable' is grainy (except the for-sale animals, and blown-up images. Those remain normal). I wanted to stay with that theme.. I might change that for the specific animals in my collection, though. Thanks for the imput.
Good eye with that Pied. I didn't even notice part of her back was missing!
I need to better my camera skills for sure, I haven't quite got it to be 100% white yet.
I really appreciate the feedback. I have some things to consider for sure.
Thanks again!!

I really like it! It looks really nice and as you go you'll tweak it a bit and make it even better. I've had my site up and running for a year and a half now and I should finally have some babies to sell this coming season. I'm glad I had it set up early though! It gave me plenty of time to play with the site, tweak things, and prepare for actually using the site! I've had my email address up on the site, and so far I haven't been getting any spam.
I'm thinking about adding information about the morphs like you did! I really like that idea and how you did it looks great! I won't be able to get my pages to look that good, but it would be fun to add the information!

I agree and you may also want to optimize your page with Meta Tags and a Title.

I'm digging the website and the name. Very nice setup.

very nice. You did it all? I have been working on mine a bit but my Business partner Mike does most of it. Not to savy on the computer stuff. But great job!
