I have read on here that placing a thawed mouse in a hide or over turned shoe box has worked for some people on here, I would also say be methodical ( something that can be hard to do if you are freaking out like I know I would be) and slowly check everything .. if there is a way to get into the heat vent I would check there, check your box spring in your room etc.
I have read a lot of post where people have found their snakes upstairs when they are kept downstairs. I hope you find the baby!

Biggest sigh of relief ever! I had torn nearly half of the closets contents out and moved a box and sure enough, he had wedged himself between the two boxes. *collapses to ground* omg......I am so relieved. He is now secure in his tank. I double checked and rechecked then went back a few seconds later just to check again.
I'm going to spend the next week or so snake proofing that room and organizing that closet so that if this ever happens again (which it won't!) it will be easier to find the snake.
